For the Crust:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup diced pepperoni
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and oregano.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the shredded mozzarella and diced pepperoni.
- Gradually add milk, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Drop dough by 1/4 cup portions onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
