Description

This cowboy butter dipping sauce is rich, savory, and loaded with garlic, herbs, and a kick of red pepper flakes. Perfect for steak, seafood, or crusty bread.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, thyme, oregano, parsley, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Serve warm as a dipping sauce for steak, chicken, seafood, or bread.
