Description
A quick and easy chicken dinner with a creamy basil sauce.

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
- Add fresh basil and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coat with sauce, and serve.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
