- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- For the Remoulade Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon capers, chopped
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- 1. In a medium bowl, toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink and lightly charred.
- 3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together all remoulade ingredients until smooth.
- 4. Serve shrimp immediately with remoulade sauce on the side.
Notes
For extra heat, increase the hot sauce in the remoulade or add a pinch of cayenne to the Cajun seasoning.
