Description

This baked brie with cranberry sauce and pecans is the perfect appetizer for holiday gatherings. Warm, gooey brie topped with tart cranberry sauce and crunchy pecans, all baked until melted and served with crackers or bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the brie wheel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a small baking dish.
  3. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the top of the brie.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the cranberry sauce, and if desired, sprinkle with brown sugar.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the brie is soft and melted but still holding its shape.
  6. Remove from the oven and let stand for 2-3 minutes. Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup before baking. Try using toasted pecans for more crunch.
