- For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- For the Garlic Butter Cream Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Wrap each shrimp with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place wrapped shrimp on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until bacon is crispy and shrimp is cooked through.
- Meanwhile, make the sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve shrimp with the garlic butter cream sauce drizzled over the top.
Notes
For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Toothpicks can be removed before serving.
