  • Green Chilli 250 gm
  • Mustard Oil 2 tbsp
  • Mustard 1 tsp
  • Cumin Seed 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek Seed 1/4 tsp
  • Fennel Seed 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida
  • Salt as per taste
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder 3 tsp
  • Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
  • Water 1/4 cup
  • Fennel Powder 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  • Curd 3 to 4 tsp

Instructions

  1. To make the perfect Dahi Mirchi Fry, take 250 grams of green chili, wash well, and cut the stem.
  2. Now, split all the chilies into two parts, like in the following image.
  3. Now place a pan on the flame, add 2 tablespoons of mustard oil, and heat well.
  4. After the hot oil, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of kalonji, 1/4 tsp of fenugreek seed, 1 tsp of fennel seeds, and 1/2 tsp of asafoetida.
  5. Now add chopped green chillies, salt as per taste, one teaspoon of turmeric powder, and roast well.
  6. Now add 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chili powder, 3 tsp of coriander powder, and 1/2 tsp of garam masala, and mix everything well.
  7. After a minute, add 1/4 cup of water, 1 tsp of fennel powder, and 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder, and cook for a minute.
  8. After a minute, turn the flame to low, add 34 tablespoons of curd, and mix well.
  9. After 5 minutes, turn off the flame and serve your Dahi Mirchi Fry.
  10. Now your perfect Dahi Mirchi Fry is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 1/2 cups finely diced Honeycrisp or Gala apples about 2 medium

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar until combined. Then whisk in the egg, vanilla, and applesauce until smooth.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir just until combined. Gently fold in the diced apples.
  5. Scoop out 1 tbsp portions of batter and drop them a few inches apart onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and turn on broiler to high.
  7. Make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and apple cider/juice until thin and pourable.
  8. Brush some of the glaze over the warm fritter bites, letting it drip down the sides. Broil for 2-4 minutes, rotating the pan frequently, until the glaze starts to caramelize and bubble up.
  9. Remove from oven and brush the remaining glaze evenly over the tops of the fritters.
  10. Let sit for 15 minutes to allow the glaze to set before serving.

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook until al dente.
  2. In the last 3 minutes, add broccoli florets. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, season chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Stir in red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and zest. Mix in parsley and chives, seasoning with salt and pepper.
