Air Fryer Canned Potatoes

  • Author: Home Cook

Description

A quick and easy way to transform canned potatoes into crispy, golden bites using an air fryer. Perfect as a side dish or snack!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • For the potatoes:
  • 1 (15 oz) can whole potatoes, drained and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • For garnish (optional):
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the drained potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  4. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the potatoes are crispy and golden brown.
  5. Remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley and parmesan cheese if desired.
  6. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the potatoes with cooking oil before air frying. If using sliced canned potatoes, reduce cooking time by 2-3 minutes.
