Description

This warm brie with roasted holiday fruits is a festive appetizer that’s easy to prepare and perfect for holiday gatherings. The creamy brie pairs beautifully with the caramelized fruits for a delicious, sweet-savory bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 pear, sliced
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers or bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cranberries, pear, and apple with honey, olive oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the fruit mixture on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes until softened and caramelized.
  4. Meanwhile, place the brie on a baking dish and bake for the last 10-15 minutes to warm through.
  5. Serve the warm brie topped with the roasted fruits, with crackers on the side.

Notes

For best results, use ripe but firm fruits. Adjust honey to taste for sweetness. This can be prepared ahead and reheated gently.
