Ingredients
- pumpkin bisque
- 4 slices bacon chopped
- 1/2 sweet onion diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 15-ounce can pumpkin puree
- 3 1/2 cups low sodium chicken or vegetable stock
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons snipped chives for topping
