- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (32 ounce) package frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Arrange tater tots on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole can be prepared ahead and refrigerated overnight for even more flavor. Serve with a side of vegetables for a complete meal.
