A sweet and moist cornbread made with honey, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients

- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, oil, egg, and honey.
- Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until combined.
- Pour into greased baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Notes
For extra moisture, add more honey.
