Description

A sweet and moist cornbread made with honey, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, oil, egg, and honey.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until combined.
  5. Pour into greased baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Notes

For extra moisture, add more honey.
