Description
Tender steak bites cooked to perfection and tossed with shell pasta in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce for a delicious and comforting meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 oz shell pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the shell pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
- Mince the garlic and add it to the skillet, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Season the steak bites with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce thickens and the cheese melts, about 2-3 minutes.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the steak and sauce, stirring to combine everything evenly.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra parmesan if desired.
Notes
You can use any cut of steak you prefer, like sirloin or ribeye. Adjust the cooking time for the steak based on how well you like it done. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to thin it out.
