Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for extra heat

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, mix chicken breasts with gochujang paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Place the marinated chicken in a baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onion and red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Serve hot with rice or vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier version, add more gochujang or fresh chili peppers. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
