Instructions

  1. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  5. Chill: Divide the dough in half, flatten each half into a disk, wrap in plastic, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  6. PreheatOven: Heat yourovento 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets withparchment paper.
  7. Roll and Cut: On a floured surface, roll out one disk of dough to ¼ inch thick, then use cookie cutters to create shapes.
  8. Bake: Place cookies on prepared sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool: Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to awire rackto cool completely.
