Description

These soft and fluffy flatbreads are easy to make at home with simple ingredients, perfect for wraps or as a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, then knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 equal balls and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Roll each ball into a flat circle about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each flatbread for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and puffed.

Notes

For extra fluffiness, use bread flour. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
