For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp pickles, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Divide into 8 small balls.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place a beef ball on the skillet, then press firmly with a spatula to create a thin patty. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy. Repeat for all patties.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 20 seconds.
- Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make the burger sauce.
- Assemble tacos: place a smash patty on each tortilla, top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, pickles, and a drizzle of the burger sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
