Description

A smaller version of the classic comfort dish with creamy potatoes, cheese, and a crispy topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen diced hash brown potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup cornflakes, crushed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the hash browns, cheddar cheese, sour cream, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, and chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Top with crushed cornflakes.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
