  • Olive oil: 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Defrost the shrimp if using frozen. Pat dry and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the seasonings: chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the shrimp evenly with the spice mix.
  4. Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Once heated, add the seasoned shrimp.
  5. Cook the shrimp on both sides until opaque and cooked through (about 6 minutes total).
  6. Cook the jasmine rice according to the package instructions.
