A delicious casserole that combines Italian sausage, pepperoni, and pizza flavors for a hearty family meal.

- 1 pound Italian sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 2 cups uncooked pasta
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In the prepared baking dish, layer half the pasta, half the sausage mixture, half the pepperoni, and half the cheeses.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, use spicy sausage and add red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
