- 1 pound Italian sausage, ground
- 1 cup pepperoni slices, chopped
- 2 cups pasta, uncooked
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add diced onions and sliced bell peppers to the skillet and cook until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked sausage mixture, chopped pepperoni, uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, and garlic powder; mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, use spicy Italian sausage and add red pepper flakes.
