Description

A delicious and indulgent plate featuring Cajun-seasoned shrimp and salmon topped with creamy Alfredo sauce, served over pasta for a complete meal.


Ingredients

  • For the Cajun Shrimp:
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • For the Salmon:
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • For the Alfredo Sauce:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For Serving:
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta, cooked
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cajun Shrimp:
  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. Prepare the Salmon:
  5. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  6. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sear salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  7. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:
  8. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  9. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Assemble and Serve:
  11. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions.
  12. Plate the pasta, top with salmon and shrimp, drizzle with Alfredo sauce, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are not overcooked to maintain tenderness. Adjust Cajun seasoning for spice level.
