Ingredients

- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and roast garlic cloves until soft, about 30 minutes.
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
- Mash potatoes with roasted garlic, milk, and butter until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
Notes
For extra creaminess, use heavy cream instead of milk.
