Description

Creamy mashed potatoes enhanced with the rich flavor of roasted garlic.


Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and roast garlic cloves until soft, about 30 minutes.
  2. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
  3. Mash potatoes with roasted garlic, milk, and butter until smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.

Notes

For extra creaminess, use heavy cream instead of milk.
