Description

A simple and flavorful side dish of roasted asparagus topped with crumbled blue cheese and crispy bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until asparagus is tender.
  4. Remove from oven and sprinkle with crumbled bacon and blue cheese.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and add toasted nuts for crunch.
