Description

A hearty casserole featuring layers of corned beef, sauerkraut, and melted Swiss cheese, baked to perfection for a savory meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound corned beef, sliced
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 loaf rye bread, cubed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cubed rye bread.
  3. Spread the sauerkraut evenly over the bread layer.
  4. Add the corned beef slices on top of the sauerkraut.
  5. Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the corned beef.
  6. Layer with Swiss cheese slices and the remaining rye bread cubes.
  7. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
