  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.
  2. Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Stir in the green beans and ranch seasoning mix. Pour in the chicken broth.
  4. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  5. Stir in the reserved bacon, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use olive oil instead. This dish pairs well with grilled meats.
