- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.
- Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until they start to soften.
- Stir in the green beans and ranch seasoning mix. Pour in the chicken broth.
- Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the reserved bacon, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use olive oil instead. This dish pairs well with grilled meats.
