Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. Add the softened butter and milk to the dry ingredients, stirring until a batter forms.
  4. Spread the sliced apples evenly in the prepared baking dish.
