- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound beef steak, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- For Macaroni Cheese:
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced steak and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add bell peppers, onion, and garlic; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and cornstarch; pour over the steak mixture and cook until thickened.
- In a separate pot, boil macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
- In the same pot, melt butter, add milk and cheese; stir until creamy.
- Mix cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce.
- Serve the pepper steak over the macaroni cheese.
