Description
These elegant puff pastry roses are filled with thinly sliced pears and creamy Brie cheese, baked to golden perfection and drizzled with a honeyed thyme glaze. Perfect for appetizers or dessert.

- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 4 oz Brie cheese, cut into small pieces
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 6 equal strips lengthwise.
- Layer pear slices and Brie pieces along the edge of each pastry strip, overlapping slightly.
- Roll each strip tightly into a rose shape, starting from the end with fillings.
- Place roses on the prepared baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed.
- While baking, mix honey with thyme leaves and butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Drizzle the warm glaze over the baked roses and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve warm for best flavor. Can be prepared ahead and refrigerated before baking.
