For the Crust:
- For the fruit puree:
- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup water
- For the lemonade base:
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water
- For garnish:
- Lemon slices
- Fresh peach slices
- Whole strawberries
- Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- 1. Make the fruit puree: In a blender, combine peaches, strawberries, and 1/4 cup water. Blend until smooth.
- 2. Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, pressing with a spoon to extract all the liquid. Discard the pulp.
- 3. Make the lemonade base: In a small saucepan, combine sugar with 1 cup water. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves completely to create simple syrup. Let cool.
- 4. Add lemon juice and remaining 3 cups cold water to the pitcher with the fruit puree.
- 5. Stir in the cooled simple syrup and mix well.
- 6. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
- 7. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices, peach slices, strawberries, and mint leaves.
Notes
For a smoother texture, strain the lemon juice before adding. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup. For a sparkling version, replace 2 cups water with club soda just before serving.
