For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, and hoisin sauce. Pour over the beef and stir to combine.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
