Description

Crispy mini fritters made with fresh apples, cinnamon, and a sweet glaze, perfect for a quick dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix diced apples, milk, and egg.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove fritters and drain on paper towels.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with glaze before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake at 400°F for 10-15 minutes instead of frying.
