- 1 (6-7 pound) bone-in turkey breast, thawed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Optional: Fresh herbs like rosemary and thyme
Instructions
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
- Season the turkey breast generously with salt and pepper, including under the skin if possible.
- Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the chicken broth to the slow cooker.
- Position the turkey breast on top of the onions and garlic.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Once done, remove the turkey from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
