A decadent and layered dessert that combines the richness of hot chocolate flavors with creamy textures in a lasagna-style dish.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • For the crust:
  • 1 and 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the cream cheese layer:
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the chocolate pudding layer:
  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • For the whipped cream topping:
  • 1 and 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For garnish:
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Mini marshmallows

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine chocolate graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust. Refrigerate until firm.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Add heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract. Beat until the mixture is light and fluffy. Spread over the crust.
  3. Step 3: In another bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until it thickens. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Step 4: In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Spread evenly over the chocolate pudding layer.
  5. Step 5: Garnish with chocolate shavings and mini marshmallows. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For an extra chocolatey flavor, use dark chocolate shavings for garnish. Ensure each layer is properly chilled before adding the next one for best results.
