Sweet and crispy honey glazed carrot fries make a perfect healthy side dish or snack. These oven-baked fries are coated in a delicious honey glaze and roasted to perfection.

For the Crust:
- For the carrot fries:
- 6 large carrots, peeled and cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- For the honey glaze:
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- For garnish:
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the carrot fries with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the carrots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the carrots are tender and slightly crispy.
- While the carrots are baking, whisk together the honey, melted butter, garlic powder, and paprika in a small bowl.
- Remove the carrots from the oven and drizzle the honey glaze over them. Toss gently to coat.
- Return the carrots to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil the carrots for the last 2-3 minutes of baking. Adjust the honey glaze to taste by adding more or less honey as desired.
