For the Crust:
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the steak bites and stir to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
