Quick and flavorful chicken bites glazed in a sweet honey garlic sauce, ready in just 20 minutes for a perfect weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch bites
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken bites to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ground ginger.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet and stir to coat.
  5. If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the skillet to thicken the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
