- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch bites
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken bites to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ground ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet and stir to coat.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the skillet to thicken the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
