- 1 large egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add Worcestershire sauce or garlic powder to the mixture. Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
