Description

A festive cheese log featuring cream cheese mixed with pesto and sun-dried tomatoes, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup prepared basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and pesto until smooth.
  2. Fold in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into a log on a piece of plastic wrap.
  4. Roll the log in chopped walnuts to coat the outside.
  5. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  6. Slice and serve with crackers or vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes to the mixture.
