Description

A simple, hearty casserole featuring ground beef, potatoes, and vegetables baked together for an easy family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the sliced potatoes, chopped onion, mixed vegetables, and cream of mushroom soup.
  4. Layer the ground beef at the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Pour the vegetable mixture over the beef and spread evenly.
  6. Top with shredded cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
