- 1 package frozen gyoza dumplings (about 12 pieces)
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sliced ginger; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the broth and bring to a boil.
- Add soy sauce, carrots, and green onions; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Gently add the gyoza dumplings and cook for 3-4 minutes until they float.
- Stir in spinach leaves and cook for another 1-2 minutes until wilted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot in bowls.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, use vegetable broth and ensure the gyoza are meat-free. Adjust seasoning as needed.
