Description

A fresh summer salad featuring grilled avocados, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
  • 4 slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • Handful of fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the avocado halves with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the avocados cut-side down for 2-3 minutes until grill marks appear.
  4. Remove from grill and assemble on a plate: layer grilled avocados with tomato slices, mozzarella, and basil leaves.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve immediately.

Notes

For the best flavor, use ripe avocados and fresh ingredients. Pair with a light wine.
