Description

A rich and indulgent dessert featuring layers of gooey caramel, melted chocolate, and a crunchy base for the perfect sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined, then press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Pour the caramel sauce over the crust and spread it out smoothly.
  4. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped nuts evenly over the caramel layer.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the top is golden.
  6. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes
