Description

A glossy and elegant dessert featuring pomegranate mousse in dome shapes, perfect for special occasions.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh pomegranate seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the pomegranate juice and sugar over medium heat until dissolved.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm pomegranate mixture and stir until fully dissolved.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the pomegranate mixture into the whipped cream.
  6. Pour the mixture into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Unmold the domes and garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds before serving.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute gelatin with agar-agar and use coconut cream.
