Description

A refreshing and aromatic steamed fish dish featuring ginger and lime for a zesty flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 fresh fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 limes, juiced and zested
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steamer by filling the bottom with water and bringing it to a boil.
  2. In a bowl, mix ginger, lime juice, zest, soy sauce, and sesame oil to create a marinade.
  3. Place the fish fillets on a heatproof plate and pour the marinade over them.
  4. Steam the fish for 10-15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and adjust seasoning to taste. Pairs well with steamed vegetables.
