For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in melted butter, then coat evenly with the parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
