Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin garlic and herb cheese
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 large egg, beaten for egg wash
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  3. Spread the Boursin cheese evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Cut the pastry into 2-inch squares or use a cookie cutter for festive shapes.
  5. Brush the edges with the beaten egg and fold or pinch as desired for puffs.
  6. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These puffs are best served warm and can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For a festive touch, add sprinkles or herbs before baking.
