- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 large egg, beaten for egg wash
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.
- Spread the Boursin cheese evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Cut the pastry into 2-inch squares or use a cookie cutter for festive shapes.
- Brush the edges with the beaten egg and fold or pinch as desired for puffs.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These puffs are best served warm and can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For a festive touch, add sprinkles or herbs before baking.
