Description

A delicious and addictive chocolate chip cookie recipe that everyone loves.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Blend in the flour mixture until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.

Notes

For extra chewy cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Store in an airtight container.
