Description

A quick and easy dinner featuring pesto, chicken, and flatbread.


Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads
  • 1 cup basil pesto
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the basil pesto evenly over the flatbreads.
  4. Add the sliced chicken breasts on top of the pesto.
  5. Sprinkle the halved cherry tomatoes and shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  9. Slice and serve immediately.
