For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (do not overmix).
- Heat a lightly greased griddle or pan over medium heat.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on top, then flip and cook until golden brown.
